Rainbow Over Wisconsin in Your Community

The mission of Rainbow Over Wisconsin is simple - to promote the development and stability of the LGBT community and allies of central, northeast and eastern Wisconsin.

Founded following the success of the “Alive With Pride 95” gay pride event by the region’s tavern keepers, Rainbow Over Wisconsin (ROW) has grown from a group that coordinated bar benefit shows to a non-profit, tax-exempt community foundation whose members include area business owners, LGBT activists and people who simply want to make northeast Wisconsin’s gay community the best it can be.

Rainbow Over Wisconsin's stated purpose is to generate and distribute funds and resources to charitable and educational organizations and groups whose purpose is consistent with the mission statement of Rainbow Over Wisconsin.

Rainbow Over Wisconsin is the parent organization for Pride Alive, Northeast Wisconsin's Pride celebration, and also for the Community Enrichment Fund which financially supports local LGBT-supportive projects and programs.
